Fastest Man On SandThe Best of the Best on the Beach The 2009/2010 Fastest Man on Sand series will deliver the full suite of beach events for age groups from Under 11 to Open, across four rounds of competition. Open to Surf Life Savers from around the world the Fastest Man on Sand will attract "THE BEST OF THE BEST ON THE BEACH" to contest their skills across eight age groups. The Fastest Man on Sand will give beach athletes their own stream of specific competitions that will raise the profile of their sport, its disciplines and the athletes, who are the world's best or who strive to be the world's best. It is envisaged that competition at each round will commence no later than 8am (possibly 7.30am depending on entries and time tabling) and be completed no later than 4pm at the first three rounds. Many events across each day's competition will feature current State, Australian and World Champions in their respective fields of discipline. The true club event will be the "All Age Relay" featuring eight members from four age groups Under 11, Under 12, Under 13 and Under 14 (making up a team of eight, competing to exhibit the strength of their clubs' junior ranks at each of the four rounds.
